Sugarcane and Fats Good for Health

Sugarcane juice provides you more with energy than any other nutrient. Sugarcane juice can be had without any added sugar. I will say that is more healthy than aerated beverages which will just provide you with empty calories. However sugarcane juice provides you with some minerals, though its quantity can be limited if your goal is maintenance or reduction of weight.

Regarding the fats which are good for your health are known as the "good fat" which helps to increase your HDL levels in your blood and contributes to a healthy heart. Of course this is not present in sugarcane or its extract. These come with the name of poly unsaturated fatty acids and mono unsaturated fatty acids which you could see on the food labels of most of the refined oils available in the market.

The dietary food sources of good fat are Olive oil (extra virgin or virgin), olives, avocados, almonds, peanuts, sesame oil, pistachio nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, etc.

One to two tablespoons of extra virgin or virgin olive oil per day should provide sufficient oleic acid for adults. However, the "time-released" effects of obtaining these nutrients from nuts and other whole foods is thought to be more beneficial than consuming the entire daily amount via a single oil dose.
