Cook Healthy and Tasty Chicken Peas (Arhar Dal) Recipe

A quick and easy but yet very tasty way of preparing the favorite chicken pea (Arahar Dal recipe)

Ingredients:
• 1 cup Arahar Dal
• 4 cup Water
• 1 chopped Tomato
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
• 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
• 1/2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
• Salt To taste
• 1/2 tsp Sugar
• 1/4 tsp Asafetida
• 3 Whole Red Chili
• 1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds
• 1 tbsp Ghee

PROCESS:
1. In a pressure cooker put all ingredients from chicken peas or Arahar dal to sugar and bring to boil.
2. Cook in medium heat and remove after 2 or 3 whistles.
3. Heat ghee, add cumin seeds, whole red chili and asafetida.
4. When splutters pour the boiled dal.
5. Heat dal and bring to boil and cook for a few minutes in medium heat.
6. Remove and serve hot.
