Fish Oil Side effects

A study for the prevention of childhood asthma, concluded that the omega-3 fatty acids, found in the cod liver, can significantly reduce symptoms such as coughing and wheezing, in children of parents who suffer from asthma.

The results, presented at the Australian Conference for asthma in the course in Melbourne are based on a program that has followed 6161 children from birth. The study indicates that the reduction of dust mites in bed sheets and blankets, and removal of soft toys produces positive results in terms of allergies, but the Omega-3 supplements are even more effective against cough and wheezing.

In a recent study, those psychiatric patients who did not consume cod-liver oil had a significantly more 'high-stress, anxiety and depression. In contrast, 9% of those examined, they ingest a tablespoon a day, show a smaller percentage of 30% of these psychological states.
